We are not responsible for viruses and you must not introduce them
We do not guarantee that our site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

Which country's laws apply to any disputes?
If you are a consumer, please note that these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
If you are a business, these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

THE TERMS

What these terms cover. These are the terms and conditions on which we supply digital content to you.  

Why you should read them. Please read these terms carefully before purchasing your membership. These terms tell you who we are; how we will provide digital content to you; how you and we may change or end the contract; what to do if there is a problem and other important information. If you think that there is a mistake in these terms, please contact us (as below) to discuss.

INFORMATION ABOUT US AND HOW TO CONTACT US

Who we are. We are Umi Health Ltd a company registered in England and Wales. Our company registration number is 12022105 and our registered office is at International House, 64 Nile Street, London, United Kingdom, N1 7SR.

How we may contact you. If we have to contact you we will do so via the email you provide us with upon signing-up to the website (either via standard or plus membership).

​MEMBERSHIPS

Access to Umi digital content is provided either by signing-up to an Umi Standard membership, or by purchasing an Umi Plus membership. The Umi Standard membership is free, whereas the Umi Plus membership is available at a monthly fee. The price of Umi Plus membership is set out on our website and the first monthly fee is payable upon purchase of an Umi Plus membership. Memberships renew automatically at the end of each monthly billing cycle (so if you subscribed on the 1st day of the month, the membership will renew for another month from the 1st day of the following month until it is cancelled).   

Memberships can be cancelled at any time by the method(s) outlined at clause 6 below and once your cancellation is processed you will be able to access the Umi Plus content until the end of your current billing cycle. After this time access to the Umi Plus content will be revoked. 

When you register an account and purchase a membership with the site you are granted access to the current library of Umi Plus content available. The Umi Plus content available may change at any time. Use of the site requires an internet connection and a compatible device.

Your account is for use by you only. Sharing of login details is not permitted. Any account suspected of being used by multiple people may be removed from the service.

OUR RIGHTS TO MAKE CHANGES

Changes to the Umi Plus content. We may change the Umi Plus content: 

  • to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements; and 

  • to implement minor technical adjustments and improvements, for example to address a security threat.

​

PROVIDING THE DIGITAL CONTENT

We will supply the digital content to you until the membership is cancelled by you or by us.

​

​CANCELLING YOUR MEMBERSHIP

Tell us you want to end the subscription. To end the membership with us, you can do by visiting the My Account page.
